What happens one year from today?  Not November 6, 2008, but the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, 2008, which will be the 4th.  That's right.  It will be Election Day!  It's only a year away!  A mere fifty-two weeks is all we have to decide whether to continue to vote for the Democrap-Repulsican Oligarchy that exists in every capitol building in this country, especially that really big one in the District of Columbia, or to vote for something else.  And you don't vote for something else by not voting.  And you don't vote for something else by voting for some splinter group that usually splintered away because they didn't get their way in purporting the import of the stupidest parts of the whole stupid oligarchy.  
        But you do vote!  You have to vote!  Because so many have not voted in years, if ever, is why we are being decimated and destroyed by this oligarchy.  What exactly is this oligarchy to which I reportedly refer?  Webster's II New Riverside University Dictionary says that oligarchy is "government by a few, especially by a small group or class" and/or "the persons or families making up such a class."  As American government is "of and by the people" therein lies the first oligarchy.  A minuscule per centage of eligible Americans choose to participate in the process.  The few within that per centage consist of a class of voters, who, by and large, probably shouldn't be allowed to vote.  This class is comprised of power mad politicians who will give away anything that's not theirs, in pursuit of public power, and the pathetic, poor-minded putzes who vote for them, who will take anything that's not theirs, in pursuit of personal  peculation.  And of course, the second oligarchy is, oh, I don't know...Kennedys, Rockefellers, Bush's, Clintons....over-educated, under-intelligent, Ivy League idiots, who, for all of their breeding and schooling, have absolutely no knowledge of the planet or the people on it.
       And in voting next year, don't trouble yourselves over this bedraggled beauty contest of the Presidential campaign.  It really doesn't matter.  What really matters is for whom you vote for Congress.  While it is always easier to single out one person for criticism  than to blame 535, it is also easier to diffuse that criticism among that 535.  Presidents throughout the last decades have all suffered from low approval ratings.  Such ratings are  trumpeted by a complicit media right up to today with George W. Bush's horrible poll numbers, which, as bad as they are, are better than the approval numbers that are being afforded to our present Congress.  This is the conundrum.  Everybody says that Congress sucks, except for their Representative and Senators.  Let me tell you, something, people:  your Representative and Senators are just like mine.  Though I think that my Representative and Senators are probably as good as any, and better than most on Capitol Hill, all three of them are oligarchal, party line political hacks who need to be replaced.  Just like yours.
       So, who do we choose to replace them?  Replace them with people you know.  The local grocer, or gas station operator.  The salesman who lives next door to you.  Maybe the private school teacher or non-union factory or retail worker.  Anybody other than this continuing continuum of lawyers, lawyers, and more lying, cheating, conniving, shyster lying lawyers!  And do it next year!  2010 may be too late.                   
           

      Regarding Pasadena Phil's Throw Your Votes Away article, the question arises, would choosing between Rudy and Hitlary be just another example of this continuing conundrum?  Well, yes, it probably would be, as it probably would be in choosing between any Democrap-Repulsican pairing.  That's the real issue, since Rudy nor Hitlary will receive his or her party's nomination next year. 
      As for Steve Adams and all of the other unknown Americans with some good ideas and initiatives, who are fed up with the two party system and are running meaningless, hopeless, primarily internet based Presidential campaigns would be serious and work to unseat their district's Congressional clown, or their state's slimy Senators, we might be able to save the Republic, regardless of whether it's a Repulsican or a Democrap in The Oval Office.  The real power and the real problem is on The Hill. 
      The REAL problem is in you "conservatives" who can only vote for a candidate with your identical ideology on one, or very few specific issue(s), which are, or at least should be, non-issues.  Crap like forcing people, at the point of a loaded, government gun, to have sex the way that you do, or to birth babies that they don't want and/or can't afford.  real issues, like national security, economic, education, and energy reform don't matter to you moralistically mindless myrmidons who believe (you notice that I don't say "think") that what matters most is controlling Americans' consensual sexual behavior and reproductive functions.  Why don't you all put on turbans and perform some honor killings and clitorectomies? 
      You'd be happy and holy to stand on narrow minded principle and give The White House to another communistic Clinton, as you did in the nineties.  Do you think, uh, believe, that she is going to stamp out homosexual rights and abortion?  Of course, Hitlary is not going to be the Democrap nominee, but you're going to get the same basic socialistic bullshiite from The Goracle or The Orange County Shyster.  So, what do you accomplish with your principles?  Pride in knowing that you helped destroy the greatest, free society in history?
Isn't pride one of those horrible sins that you people SO detest and despise?  Idiots!      

       Why does the government pay dirt farmers not to grow certain crops?  Why does the government pay dairy farmers to discard milk?  Why does the government pay corn farmers to turn their crops over to the new, asinine bio-fuels racket when we need the corn more for food?   Why does the government pay landowners to keep the oil under their lands?  Why aren't we getting our oil from our coastlines, from Alaska, the Rocky Mountains, and other areas within the interior of the United States?   Why aren't we building any new refineries or nuclear power plants?  Why do we buy so much oil and foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals from foreign countries with which we shouldn't be dealing in any way, much less in ways that are so vital to our very survival? 
      Why are we still engaged in the same battle that began five years ago, when the whole damned war should have been wrapped up on September 21, 2001?  Why are we allowing Muslims in America to kill and maim our citizens without real retaliation.  Why are we not executing spies and traitors for espionage and treason?  Why are we allowing so many Muslims and other third world "refugees" into our country without proper processing?  Why do we still have no border security, thus allowing easy, unknown, illegal invasion of our country by diseased and demented criminals and killers? 
      Why have we allowed history's safest and best food and drug supply and consumer products to be polluted and poisoned?  Why do we allow a bunch of despotic dictators any say in our sovereign policies?   Why have we allowed Democrap and Repulsican politicians to be politicians?  Why is there even the job title of politician?  And why does the American majority of mostly Caucasoid, Christo-Judaist, capitalistic, conservative, common sense, common clay citizens do nothing about all of this and so much more that has gone haywire?
     Because that would be greedy, intolerant and raaaaacist, and as we're all being indoctrinated to believe that only Christo-Judaist, capitalistic Caucasoids can be greedy, intolerant, and racist,...well, there you go.  Why can't Negroids, eastern and western Mongoloids, Hispanic and Semitic Mullatoids, and other such "non-whites" and practitioners of different belief and economic systems be greedy, intolerant, and racist?  Well, they can be, and they are! 
      I know that there are many other such "Why?" questions of which I can't think at this late hour, which I would love to hear from some of you here at Townhall.  But the answer will be the same for them as for the ones above.                                                   
           

      In the final episode of the groundbreaking Iraq war drama Over There, Pvt. Frank Dumphey declares that "We have to get past religion.  The future of the culture depends on it."  Though not openly explained, I think that he was referring to all religions and the culture of humanity, rather than to any particular belief system or nationality.  I agree with him.
      Religion is a concept and construct dating back to antiquity.  Whether it's the system of multiple deities worshiped by the ancient Greeks and Romans or the monotheistic beliefs of Judaism, Christianity, or Islam, or anything in between or otherwise, religion is irrational and unreasonable.  Religions were designed and developed to answer the questions that could and can not be answered through reason or rationality, or sensory perceptions; with the primary, most unanswerable question being, "What happens to us when we die?"  Thus, the church is formed for the sole purpose of providing a most desired product: peace of mind, which is not provided for free. The church tells us that it costs ten per cent of our income.
      Clearly, throughout history, the church, or religion, has not done much, if anything, to provide peace.  As those of us with any learning in the subject of history know, more people have been killed in the name of religion than for any other reason.  Whether it's the Salem Witch Trials or any other heresy hearings that resulted in executions, or the Spanish priests and conquistadors slaughtering the native populations of 16th and 17th century Central and South America, many have died from direct dogma of Christian, especially Catholic Christian ideology.  Also considering the Crusades of the Christian church against the Muslims, it is an easy mistake to make in saying that the Christian church has killed more people in history than any other entity.  We must remember, though, that The Crusades were were launched in response to and in retaliation for the Muslims' mass murders of Jews and Christians that continue to this very day, easily making Islam the most horrific killer among mankind.  We won't even go into, at this time, all of the millions of their fellow humans that they have put and sold and still put and sell into slavery in the name of Allah.
      Article VI of the U.S. Constitution states that "...no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States."  There are, however, many Americans who ignore that caveat, requiring candidates to hold to their specific religious, moralistic mores.  These flat earth bafoons  are going to condemn all America to a Democrap Party socialism that will surrender to Islamization. 
      So, to Dr. (of what?..child development; oh, PLEASE!) James Dobson and all of his mindless myrmidons, this question must be posed:  Which is worse:  abortion and sex that is not shared by a married man and woman in the dark in the missionary position for the sole purpose of procreation; or honor killings and clitorectomies? Of course, that type of man would probably welcome the right to engage in those last activities, as it would excuse them from their inability to truly pleasure a woman and would allow them to further denigrate women.               

      We're not going to get them from the Democrap or Repulsican parties.  That's because both parties are controlled by special interests of grifting and grafting government officers and officials and commercialists corrupting capitalism.  While it is probably slightly slightly slightly true that the worst of the Repulsican candidates are better than the best Democrap candidates, none of them are worthy of holding any office of trust under the United States. 
      This election, perhaps like no other in American history, is ripe for a third party.  Call it The Third Party, if the guys with that web site haven't officially registered that name.  Call it something else that evokes a clear meaning to most, if not all,  who hear the name, so they understand the basic premise of the name and of the party.  That's where the Libertarians messed up even before picking the wrong issue to make their primary focus in 1971.  Call it The U.S. Individualist Party.  Regardless of what it's called, it has to put forth a platform dealing with the specific few issues that really matter to America at this point in national and world history.
      It will have to draw together the memberships and the leaders (who aren't really Repulsicans and Democraps with aspirations of personal political power) of a number of the seventy some existent 'third' parties and  citizens' groups like Americans for Fair Taxation, LEAP, FIJA, The New Coalition, and The Minutemen.  It will have to draft the few remaining Republicans and (as best as I can tell) the one Democrat presently serving in Washington, D.C.  It will have to have the promotion of the talkers and the bloggers. 
      While keeping to basically conservative, Constitutional constructs, which will attract those people from those  aforementioned parties and groups, as well as a broad cross section of Republicans, this party will have to appeal to rank and file Democrats, who would never vote for a Repulsican, but who know that their party has been sold out to socialists and fascists. This could be accomplished by a national billboard and direct mail campaign utilizing the simple text and graphics messages found on The IP  homepage: "Democraps?  Repulsicans?  They're the Same!  Two Evils!!" and "Donkey Burgers and Elephant Steaks In 2008!"  Of course, the Fair Tax logo and the party's first platform plank of "NO POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!" would always be prominent on all signs and mailers.
      To be credible, this party would have to field 435 Congressional candidates.  Some of these candidates would have to be presently serving Representatives and Senators who are fed up and finished with what their parties have become.  Most would be private citizens already involved with some of these offshoot parties and/or citizens' groups.  Most strongly targeted districts and states would be those presently represented by openly unAmerican socialists and fascists who call themselves Democrats.  Next in line would be those seats presently held by Repulsicans who are not seeking reelection.  Finally, but perhaps foremost, this party would have to contend against running incumbents who can be shown as Democrap or Repulsican party line hack career politicians. 
      So, who does this party run against Mormon Mitt and whichever of the two washed-up, has been, shyster, charlatan Southern ex-Senators who winds up on the left side of the ballot after Hitlary and Hussein bleed each out during the primary campaign and party convention?  This candidate can not be someone who is going to appeal to just enough of the presently registered and regularly voting voters to swing the election from the Democrap to the Repulsican, as Nader did, or from the Repulsican to the Democrap, as Perot, and Anderson, and Teddy Roosevelt did.  This person must be popular and principled enough to inspire enough of those aforementioned voters AND the throngs of unregistered and uninvolved citizens to vote en masse, so as to defeat both of the major party candidates for President, while creating a coattail effect in Congressional and Senatorial races.  I nominate Secretary of State and General Colin L. Powell!           

      Back in the day when the networks actually aired some intelligent, entertaining fare, there was a show called Northern Exposure, by which I not only was entertained, but from which I gleaned some enlightenment.  There was an episode in which Maurice, the millionaire was all distraught over the fact that the new lessees of one of his real estate properties turned out to be homosexual.  And more distressing than that, one of  the men was, like Maurice, an ex Marine.  In lamenting his case to Ruth Anne, the wise, old storekeep, he said he was thinking of burning the building down to keep the homos from inhabiting it.  To this, wizened Ruth Anne replied, "Maurice, it's just sex, and it just doesn't matter!"   She's right.
      Whether it's a bunch of San Franfreako freaks on Folsom Street, or Alabama women seeking some sexual gratification from an adult toy, it just doesn't matter.  The freaks might come close to overstepping the bounds of propriety in their very public display of debauchery, but from the pictures that I've seen and reports that I've read, it doesn't appear that they caused anyone else demonstrable loss or harm through force or fraud.   They're simply a bunch of freaks having their brand of fun.  They are no longer allowed , for reasons  of sensitivity and political correctness to earn a living by being part of the freak shows in the back tents of the traveling carnivals and fairs.  So, what can we expect?  They have to get it out of their systems somehow.
      As for the oppressed, suppressed women of Alabama, there is nothing to do but apologize.  Apologize for a Supreme Court with no courage or common sense.  And apologize for the misogynistic men and thin lipped, dry lipped women of the Alabama state legislature.  These are the pin headed, paunch bellied, bald pated, pencil-penised putzes and jowly jerks who have never orgasmed a woman in their pathetic lives and the cold fish females who, from the point of puberty were indoctrinated with the dogma that sex is a dirty, defiled, and devil inspired evil that is to be performed only for the purposes of propagating the species and for fulfilling their wifely duties to their horribly horrendous, hedonistic, heathen husbands, who just can't save themselves from their illicit, libidinous lust.
     People, it's just sex.  As long as it's not explicitly performed in the public square or doesn't violate the rules of consensual, contractual interaction, it just doesn't matter.  Even if it is performed in public, there is no real crime, as long as force or fraud is not involved.  The puritanical moralists should see such an event, not as a terror, but as a teaching opportunity...an opportunity to evangelically espouse their point of view without invoking the police power of government with the point of a loaded gun.           

      This DividedWeFail.org group, with the genetically engineered mascot has a kernel of the right idea.  I'm supposing that they envision some great melding of the the two great political philosophies into one greatest political platform through compromise and capitulation.  As best as I can tell, on cursory perusal, all such compromise and capitulation would be performed by the elephant part of this ridiculous result of philosophic philandering.  Though they, at DividedWeFail.org, did have sense enough to employ the elephant head, the poor beast still has the dumb mass donkey body and heart, which will dominate whatever bit of brain power this hideously horrible husbandry has produced.  After all, what we emote is more important than what we think. 
      That is evidenced by their three point pledge.  The anchor pledge point says to "Vote for candidates who are specific about what they will do and how, and who stop speaking in generalities."  That follows vague, vaporous platitudes to  "...ensure that all Americans have access to affordable, quality health care" and "peace of mind about their long term financial security..." 
      How, in an open markets, free enterprise economic system is the government to ensure that all Americans have access to affordable, quality anything? In the America in which I was born, individuals did the best they could, through proper education, profitable endeavor, and prioritized expenditures to ensure themselves of affordable access to  practical products and procedures, such as quality health care.  Those principles were also practiced to protect what peace of mind one might be able to muster about such an abstract, ethereal subject as long term financial security.  How in the wide wide world of whatever is any government supposed to ensure peace of mind about anything?  In theory, that's what church does.   In actuality, it would be  1984.  
      DividedWeFail.org's culminating conclusion is that "candidates owe us action, answers, and accountability, and they must commit to delivering long term, lasting solutions if elected."  Beyond appreciating their alliteration, there's nothing in that platitude to applaud.  It's just more jerky generalities that they supposedly don't want.                Here's some specific action and answers to which to commit that will deliver long term, lasting solutions....
1)  Educate our children and ourselves by means other than unmeritorious, unionized government schools;
2)  Energize ourselves with our and our allies' fuel sources, rather than with them of those who are not our allies;
3)  Implement a system of taxation that isn't communistic and doesn't promote class envy and warfare;
4)  Get goldbricks out of government, so that they can grow organic veggies, chase ambulances, or whatever;      
5)  Allow entrepreneurial individuals, rather than  goofball government,  to ascertain the answers;
 and finally, but foremost,
6)  WIN the war against Islamofascism.
      There's a quick half dozen actions and answers, all of which are promulgated in more detail at theip.us.  As for accountability of our elected and appointed officers and officials, may we exile and/or execute the ones who deny or defy their oaths of office?  Please?                 

      They would lose too many supporters and advocates.  While it is acceptable in San Franfreako to have such events as the Folsom Street Fair, it is not allowable for The Blue Angels to ceremoniously fly over the city, or for the USS Iowa to be docked in the harbor as a Naval museum, or for the USMC Silent Drill Team to film on California Street.
      There is no real problem with the display of debauchery that this "fair" sounds to be.  Despite how distasteful, disgusting or degenerate this affair might be, it doesn't seem to be something that would cause demonstrable loss or harm to others through force or fraud.  The problem is that these people and the parochial politicians who happily dispense whatever appropriate paperwork makes such an event permissible have no realization of whom and what makes their fun and games possible.
      As dismaying as it is to them in their denial, it is the U.S. military that makes possible their liberties to participate in and permit such public perversity.  So why does the city of San Fransicko  not allow the USS Iowa to dock in the harbor as a Naval museum?  Why are the Blue Angels banned from performing a ceremonial flyover above the city?  Why is the USMC Silent Drill Team not permitted to film on California Street?
      The real question, however, is why is permission from some slimy little ill liberal, left coast , putrid, partisan, parochial politico required?  Why weren't phone calls made that went something like this:  "Hello?  Who's this?  Doesn't matter.  You're a meaningless little municipal myrmidon.  I am the Secretary of the Navy letting you know that we'll be docking the USS Iowa in your harbor and opening it up and operating it as a Naval museum.  Our Blue Angels will also be performing a flyover above the city as part of a ceremony.  Also, the USMC Silent Drill Team will video a recruitment ad on California Street.  Make whatever arrangements you need to make, to facilitate these activities and events.  Thank you.  Good bye."
      Why is the most powerful, yet benevolent military in the history of the planet begging permission, with their caps in their hands, from a smattering of smarmy socialistic shysters and charlatans?  Could it be just another example of that proliferating political correctness, which is infecting even our military, so that it no longer knows when to portray power and when to effect benevolence?    

       Names of the murderers and murdered matter to the persons personally connected to the specific incidents in this ongoing attack on American lives.  To the rest of us, all that really matters is that yesterday, another third world, drunken Hispanic Mullatoid, criminal illegal alien, who is unlicensed and uninsured has murdered two of our fellow citizens  by crashing into their vehicle which was parked in the breakdown lane of Interstate 40/85 near Greensboro.        I haven't yet seen or heard what this murderer's blood alcohol level was.  It really doesn't matter.  Suffice it to say that he was drunk enough to be uninjured in a crash that set three vehicles afire and killed two. 
      What matters the most is the answers to the questions of "How many times has this happened, now?" and "How many times does it have to happen before our Democrap and Repulsican, politically correct, pansified politicians do something to protect the citizenry against this obviously asymmetrical invasion?"
      The same questions could also be asked about Muslims in this country, killing and trying to kill Americans in Utah, Seattle, Chapel Hill...         

     From Duke lacrosse, to Don Imus, to Jena, Louisiana, there is nothing but raaaacism in America.  And, of course, it's always Caucasoid racism.  La Raza isn't racist.  The National Association of Always Complaining People isn't racist.  Only the Klan is racist, except, of course, for that Democrap champion of racial rights in the Senate, Robert K.K.K. Byrd.
      Let's speak semantics for a moment and discuss the definitions of some of the English language's most misused words.     My Webster's II New Riverside University Dictionary says that racism is "The notion that one's own ethnic stock is superior."  It defines prejudice as "irrational hatred or suspicion of a specific..race.."  Bigotry is denoted as " fanatical devotion to one's own...race...and intolerance of those who differ."  Let's learn these differences and use them accordingly. 
      And let's learn this while we're at it.  Here in America, and elsewhere around the globe, especially in socialist Europe,  very few Caucasoids are racist.  Yes, there are the few and far between backwoods, inbreeding, Byrd voting Bubbas and Bubbettes that shame and embarrass the rest of the Caucasoids.  Just like there are the Reverends  Highjackson and Sharkman that should shame and embarrass the Negroids.  But again, there are few truly racist people, regardless of epidermal melatonin, in that almost nobody adheres to a belief in racial superiority.  However, almost everybody, in fact, let's just say that EVERYbody is prejudiced to some degree or another.  It's in our genes, as the very essence of human nature is based in emotionality, particularly the emotion of fear.  Fear of that which is different and/or unknown.  Anyone who denies that is intellectually dishonest or just another dumb mass.  There's not one among us, I'd wager (and I haven't placed a bet since Super Bowl III), who hasn't, at some point in his or her life, said or thought, "Damn (pick you racial slur)."  Among all of us prejudiced people, bigots abound.  But again, they're not necessarily racists.  Let's learn the differences.  We'll have to learn them on our own, as it's a good bet that unionized, government school teachers aren't going to teach them.   

      With so many entrants in this beauty contest that we call the Presidential campaign, all pretty much saying the same insipidity, we need, we deserve, and we have earned the opportunity to vote for better candidates.  Well, maybe we haven't earned it, as so many of us have become entirely tuned out and turned off by the same ole same ole that is presented to us every two, four, and six years.  We do need and deserve better candidates, and if one were to arise, to excite us, to inspire us, and to unite us, we would, as Americans, en masse, earn that privilege, that right, by tuning in and turning out to vote in droves unwitnessed among the electorate in decades.
      All of the Democraps are pseudo-socialists who pander to the crude and mindless whims of the masses at MoveOn.org and who have descended on Jena, La.  The Repulsicans are merely myrmidons to whatever urging they perceive as the best way to attain more personal political power and can not be trusted with the power of the presidency anymore than the dumb mass Democraps.  The very few worthwhile Repulsicans who are in the race should keep their present positions (Hunter and Paul) or unseat a Democrap (Huckaby) on Capital Hill, where they could do some real good allying with a President and Vice President of principle and pragmatism. 
      Of course, these candidates would have to run on a new, alternative party ticket, so as to be disassociated with that same ole same ole  crudity, corruption, and criminality that is Washington .DC, as these two men are, as best as I can tell, above such reproach.  I want to see a Colin Powell - John Stossel ticket.      

     Lawwwwwyers made closing arguments today in the trial of Holy Land Foundation officials.  Charged with aiding terrorists, conspiracy, and money laundering, the defendants could be imprisoned for life, if they are found guilty of acts which resulted in deaths.   This raises questions.
      How could this possibly take six years?  How many millions of taxpayer dollars have been pocketed, pilfered, or otherwise squandered in this affair?  Why were these people not charged with treason and/or espionage, depending on citizenship?   The prosecution could produce only one witness?  In SIX YEARS?  Ohh, PUHLEASE!   And finally, if these people are convicted of these acts, which are tantamount to waging war against the United States and her allies, why can't they be executed as the spies whom they are?   Or, at least exiled to The Rat Islands as the rats whom they are?
 

      Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.  No one has ever better illustrated that than former Speaker of the House Jim Black.  In cahoots with Black and following closely behind Black in depths of dirty dealing political shenanigans is former representative Michael Decker.  Then, there's former Durham County D.A. Mike Nifong. 
      These...men, for lack of a better, publishable noun, committed the most heinous crime possible in a  country with a representative form of government.  As elected public officials, they breached the trust of their offices.  As penalty and punishment, all three resigned in disgrace and were basically  patted on the backs by judges who can be best described as complicit politicians.   Black was fined a million dollars by the feds and fifty grand by the state.  This is meaningless butt wiping money to a public thief like Black.  Likewise for the fifty grand that Decker was fined.  Both were sentenced to too few years in what I'm sure is too cushy of a prison.  Nifong was (very temporarily, I'll predict) disbarred, in the tradition of Bill Clinton.  And he served a WHOLE day in jail.
     All three of these scumbags should be bankrupted into abject and unrecoverable poverty by fines and seizures to repay the citizens of North Carolina, and in Nifong's case to repay those three Duke University stutdents he madly prosecuted in his quest for perpetual political power.  The lawsuits that those students are rightly filing should be paid by Nifong  and his skanky stripper prostitute collaborator, Crystal Mangum, until all of his and her assets are gone.  The taxpayers should only be liable for the remainder of the restitution.  After all, it was they who kept him in office to pursue his political madness.  All three of these putrid politicians, and any other official holding an office under the public trust who is convicted of violating that trust, should not only be stripped of all assets, but should be shackled in the public square for a period of time to allow the citizenry to  heap humiliation and non-lethal harm upon them before being thrown into the general population of the worst prisons, exiled to The Rat Islands, or executed in that aforementioned public square.                 

     More than ever before, I hear pundits and commentators, along with Americans at large, advocating the necessity of a viable alternative party to displace those who can best be called Democraps and Repulsicans.  I say "alternative party" rather than "third party", as there are already approximately seventy some parties in America including The Third Party.  There are committed conservatives as well as life and liberty loving liberals who believe that The Republican and Democratic Parties can be saved and salvaged from the oligarchs who have created the corrupted monopolistic duopoly that presently exists in America.    Such faith is admirable, but obsolete, in that those parties are beyond redemption. 
      We have to recognize who these people are, as we knew them in school and/or college.  They are the people we loved to hate as the spoiled brat bi*ch and bas*tard little rich kid jocks, cheerleaders, frat boys and sorority sisters whose only purpose was popularity in that world and now is power in the real world.  And while they were fine as class presidents, campus council members, or student senators where they had no real impact, they are way too narcissistic and numb-skulled to be allowed to hold jobs with which they can actually kill us.    
      So, how do we form and fly a vital and viable party that will excite the apathetic half of us who don't even bother to vote, because of their proper perception of an offering of picking a lesser of two evils, while simultaneously energizing the involved of us who are tired of that option of opting for that lesser choice.  It is time that we have a better choice who will espouse a simple, straightforward platform of the few issues that actually matter to the survival of the republic.  That choice has to be extended beyond the beauty contest that is the Presidential campaign.  While it would be great to find and field Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates who could actually win the election, or at least throw it into Congress, rather than just swinging the election as Nader, Perot, Anderson, and Teddy Roosevelt did, it is more important to support Congressional candidates who would be the theoretically real political power in our three branch system of government.  Colin Powell and John Stossel could be such a ticket on the national stage, but nominees on the state and local levels have to be found and fielded to fill the offices on Capitol Hill. 
     While this needs to be a fifty state, 435 district effort, special attention needs to be paid to such places as Nebraska, Virginia, and the fourteenth district of Illinois, where conservative incumbents are not seeking reelection.  The Senate race in Idaho for Larry Craig's seat, and the oddity of two Senate races in the same year in Wyoming need to be targeted.  Repulsican party line hacks like Ted Stevens need to be challenged and defeated.  Democrats gone Democrap like Durbin, Harkin, Rockefeller, Landrieu, Laughtenburg, and Levin need to be left by the wayside.  Though I'm so far sticking to my years old prediction that Mitt Romney will be the Repulsican nominee, he would serve the nation better by unseating The Poodle John Kerry next year, just as Mike Huckaby would do more good taking Mark Pryor's Senate seat.  Ron Paul should keep his seat and let his son run for another one presently held by one of the leftists who has to be an embarrassment to most Texans, like that guy in the fifteenth district.  Duncan Hunter should keep his seat and find some like minded neighbors to defeat the really ill liberal lunatics like Waters, Waxman, and Woolsey.  He could then turn his attention to getting rid of Babs Boxer in 2010.  Among the 435 professional politicians in The House, there are just too many to name here who need to be put out on their political posteriors.  Two that come to mind are that socialist hooligan Hinchey in New York. and our own North Carolinian socialist Mel Watt.  In this part of North Carolina, on the other side of the spectrum, there are Repulsican party line partisans Howard Coble and Virginia Foxx, who are better, I suppose, than Democrapic party line hacks like David Miller. 
      To accomplish this goal, we need to start NOW.  National Talkers like Boortz and Savage and maybe even Hannity have to champion this cause.  Local Talkers like Rick Roberts in San Diego, Brad & Britt and Alan Handlemann here in North Carolina, as well as others throughout the country with whom I'm not familiar must push this program.  Writers, like those of us here at Townhall have to advocate the abolition of the present two party system.  Most importantly, the leaderships and memberships of the too numerous existing parties must put aside their pitiably petty differences to prove that they are beyond the political power avariciousness that plagues the Democraps and Repulsicans,.so as to coalesce into one cohesive coalition concerned with those few issues that really matter, like implementing The Fair Tax Act, WINNING the war with Islamofascism, and reducing government size and scope to its Constitutionally mandated purposes and functions.  Organizations like LEAP, FIJA,  Americans for Fair Taxation, and The New Coalition  must be brought into this coalition.  Whether it is under a new name like The Individualist Party which has web posted a basic platform, or an existing name like The Third Party, which has not, it has to be done!
      Incumbent politicians like the Repulsican southern senators up for reelection, senators running elsewhere, like Coleman, Inhofe, and the two Wyoming guys must be recruited to this cause.  Other individualistic Repulsican and Democrapic senators like Lieberman and Isakson need to be drawn in.  The few and far between independently minded representatives who exist need to be engaged and enlisted.  Congressmen like Linderman, Poe, Tancredo, and Weldon come to mind.  And the genius of  Richard Viggery needs employment .
      To promote and advertise this party, we will rely primarily on direct mail and outdoor advertising with the simple colorful text and graphics messages of  "Democraps?  Repulsicans?  They are the same...two evils!" and "Donkey Burgers and Elephant Steaks in 2008!" The basic layouts can be found on The Individualist Party home page at http://www.theip.us.  The billboards and mailers will also display The Fair Tax logo and the party's first platform plank of "NO POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!"  TV and radio ads would be simple autobiographical statements by the candidates themselves relaying the basic platform of the party.  For instance, if I were running, I would be videoed sitting on my front porch swing saying, "Hello.  I'm Buzz Sharpe, farmer, salesman and your Individualist(?) / Third Party(?)  candidate for  Congress.  Like you, I am disgusted with Democraps turned socialists and Repulsicans turned oligarchs.  And like you, I am an unknown, unconnected nobody, nothing, nil who knows that it is time for a change that is not going to happen if left to the evil two.  I am a tenth generation North Carolinian and Son of the American Revolution who will promise and perform "no political correctness!"  Like every other Individualist(?) / Third Party(?) candidate, I shall support and co-sponsor The Fair Tax Act.  I shall advocate action that will win the war with Islamofascism, and introduce specific legislation that will minimize the size and scope of the federal government.  If you want the same ole same ole in Washington, keep voting for Democraps and Repulsicans.  If you want to truly change America for the better and save her, vote Individualist(?) / The Third Party(?)."   I'm Buzz Sharpe and I approve of this message."   "Paid for by North Carolinian Individuals."  Now, that would be a sixty second spot that would spur some response heading into the election.
     But those mailers have to start going out now and those billboards have to start going up now!                                               

      All day today, people have spoken of 9-11 being a wake up call for America.  It was nothing more than an annoying knee in the back from a bed partner.  It was enough for us open our eyes and sit up just long enough to ask, "Hey, what was that?..Oh, it's just you."  Then, it was straight back to sleep where we remain today. 
      That's why a number of recently surveyed Americans think that 9-11 happened after and as a result of our invasion of Iraq.  That's why we're still slogging along in a theatre of war that should have had the curtain fall on September 21, 2001.  That's why we still have a bunch of pansified pin-heads putting us at risk every day through their political correctness, their avaricious corruption of capitalism and Congress, and their oath denying treason.
     As much as our putrid politicians have failed and continue to fail us, we have failed ourselves.  We have not demanded, or even requested that these half wit hooligans resign, be fired, arrested, tried, convicted and executed, as they should be.  Hell, we reelected them, some of them three time since The Attack.  So, who are the real idiots?
